About Joe Castillo
His art career began when he founded The Advertising Library, a successful advertising agency in Knoxville, TN. After 21 years in advertising, he returned to school and received a M.A. in Biblical Studies and M. Div. from Asbury Seminary. Upon graduation he became pastor of Northridge UM church in Richmond, KY. After five years of pastoring, he and his wife Cindy decided to pursue artwork full time.
Passionate about the power of the arts, Joe developed “WordStory®” seminars to encourage artists and organizations on the use of the Arts. He has also developed a number of “ArtStory®” presentations that use intricately crafted illustrations, drawn live, to teach lessons as they unfold. Stories of the lives impacted by his artwork encouraged him to write a book entitled “SandStories” chronicling his latest artistic venture called “SandStory®,” which is available on his website and Amazon.com
“SandStory®” is a live-art presentation performed to music and projected on large screens for a stunning visual effect. His work can be seen at JoeCastillo.com and SandStory.com.
Joe Castillo is available to perform his artwork and seminars live at your conference or church. For booking information please contact: Tim Grable • 615-263-4143 • tim@nashvilleagency.com.
